I use fabric, yarn, embroidery and beads as an expression of womanhood, of the mediums that have for centuries empowered women to create. Although fiber arts were not regarded as a valid art form within the canon of western art, they remain a testament to a powerful and lasting expression of women artists throughout the world. My work speaks to that power.
